Philip Phillips, 84, of Benton formerly of Poyen passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at his home. He was born May 3, 1938, in Poyen, the son of the late Alfred and Boyce Phillips Beck. Philip graduated from Poyen High School in 1956 and served in the United States Army. He retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal and was a member and Deacon at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church. Philip enjoyed spending time with everyone but especially the time he had with his family and grandkids. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Seo Tull Glaze.

Survivors, wife of 63 years, Mary Ella Burnett Phillips; children, Celeste Rogers ( Randy) of Benton, Andrea Margrave ( Bill) of West Little Rock, David Phillips ( Dana) of Poyen, Scott Phillips ( Susan) of Poyen; sister, Teri Clifton ( David) of Poyen; half- brothers, Byron Beck ( Leslie) of Kennewick, Washington and Boyd Beck ( Rory) of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchild­ren, Wendy Byrd, Jacob Byrd, Dustin Phillips ( Mary), Zachary Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Catherine Massey, Andy Smith, Ryan Huskey, Allyssa Hardwick, Brody Channell ( Courtney), Brian Margrave, Kerri Nettles ( Johnathan), Brad Margrave ( Chelsey), Cameron Phillips, Colton Phillips ( Cicely), Joseph Duren, and Daniel Ramsey ( Bailey); twenty four grandchild­ren and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23 from 6: 00- 8: 00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 11: 00am at Lindsey- Poyen Cemetery with Brother Jesse Stripland officiatin­g. Grandchild­ren will serve as Pallbearer­s.
