Joe R. Frye, 77, of Magnet Cove passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at National Park Medical Center. He was born January 1, 1946, in Oklahoma City, OK the son of the late, Raymond Otis and Juanita Maxine Tolland Frye. Joe served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked at Reynolds Rolling Mill in the maintenanc­e department for many years. He was a member of Butterfiel­d Missionary Baptist Church. Joe enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved making cathead biscuits. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Jean Frye and Patricia Samples.

Survivors, wife of 55 years, Martha Frye of Magnet Cove; daughters, Bridget Harper of Malvern, Melissa Skinner ( Mike) of Malvern and Carrie Atwood ( Justin) of Mayflower; grandchild­ren, Kyle Harper, Josie Collins, Cory Collins and Joel Atwood; great granddaugh­ter, Charlotte Harper; nephews, Michael Stephens, David Stephens and Richard Stephens and numerous cousins.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 11: 00am at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Bobby Goodknight and Brother Mark Adams officiatin­g. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Pallbearer­s will be Mike Skinner, Robert Draper, Michael Stephens, David Stephens and Kyle Harper. Honorary pallbearer­s will be the Tuesday golf day guys at Degray.

Memorials may be made to Butterfiel­d Missionary Baptist Church, 20290 Hwy 51, Malvern, AR 72104.
