John Ethan Tillery

John Ethan Tillery of Malvern, Arkansas was born January 7, 1966 at Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of the late John Tillery and Alice Dixson Tillery Whitney. Known to countless number of fellow truckers as “Lil John”, he worked for most of his life driving a truck. When he wasn’t on the road, he enjoyed treasure hunting at yard sales and just spending time outside. What he enjoyed most though, was spending time with his daughter and grandkids.

Mr. Tillery died Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at St. Vincent’s Hospice in Little Rock, at the age of 58. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a bonus son, Anthony Harmon; brother,

Raymond Henson; sister, Martha Swayze; father- inlaw, E. J. Hunt; niece, Mary Humphrey; sisters- in- law, Nancy Tillery, Dessie Henson.

Survivors include his daughter and son- in- law, Whitney and Clayton Watson of Sheridan; grandchild­ren, Ryan Watson,

J. D. Watson, and Annabelle Watson, known to her grandpa as Smelly Belly; friend and former wife, Jeanie Tillery; bonus sons, Nathan ( Alyssa) Harmon and their children, Chanson, Mavie, and Anthem; bonus daughters, Justina ( J. C.) Lunsford and their children, Jacey Dawn, Jurnee, Jaidyn, and Joanna and Chandra Harmon and her children, Andrew and Olivia; brother, Mitchell Tillery; sisters, DI ( Rob) Hetrick and their children; Judy ( Earl) Taylor of Glen Rose; He is also survived by numerous other extended family members, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11: 00 A. M. Friday, March 29, 2024 at New Hope Cemetery, near Sheridan, with Bro. Thomas Mcgriff officiatin­g. Visitation is also Friday, 9: 30 A. M.10: 45 A. M. at the funeral home.
