Rylee Gray headed back to state meet OHS tracksters place at district

PARKERS CHAPEL — While representing in several events at the 2A-8 Sr. District Track Meet Wednesday, the Ouachita Warriors and Lady Warriors placed to finish productively during their competition in Parkers Chapel.

Lady Warrior trackster and topnotch shot put performer Rylee Gray qualified to make a return trip to the Class 2A State Track Championships and placed second for the runner-up honor at district. Kaitlyn Cunningham placed in two events while Brozia Lame and Moriya Boyce finished strong during their performance in competition at district.

Warrior tracksters Isaiah Mcintosh and Nick Smith placed during the senior boys district meet.

Overall, the Lady Warriors finished fifth place and thewarriors placed sixth.

The following are Ouachita track results from the 2A-8 Districttrack Meet hosted in Parkers Chapel.

OUACHITA LADY WARRIORS DISTRICT TRACK RESULTS Sr. High Girls

In the 100 Meter Dash — Brozia Lame finished 12th with a time of 15.53; Moriya Boyce finished 14th with a time of 19.89.

In the 200 Meter Dash — Kaitlyn Cunningham placed sixth with a time of 31.10.

In the 400 Meter Dash — Kaitlyn Cunningham placed seventh with a time of 1:17.80.

In the Shot Put — Rylee Gray placed second with a throw of 36-03

OUACHITA WARRIORS DISTRICT TRACK RESULTS Sr. High Boys

In the 400 Meter Dash — Isaiah Mcintosh placed eighth with a time of 59.95; and Nick Smith finished with a time of 1:06.11.

In the 1600 Meter Run — Nick Smith placed eighth with a time of 6:06.33.

In the Triple Jump — Isaiah Mcintosh finished 10th with a jump of 34-02.
