Millpond Music Festival gets underway on Friday
30 years and still going strong; three days of music, art and more
The famous Millpond Music Festival is this weekend! Set at Inyo County’s Millpond Park and organized by the Inyo Council for the Arts, the 30th Millpond Festival is justly famous for its scenery, is musicians and its small-town feel; an intimate festival in a relaxed setting with something to offer for everyone.
In addition to main stage performances, artists appear at the event’s workshop tent, allowing festival-goers a chance to interact with the musicians in a more informal setting.
Inyo Council for the
Arts will be there as always, providing activities for kids, including arts and crafts, face painting and more.
There also will be a diverse selection of food vendors as well as an arts and crafts show featuring local and regional artists.
Those who haven’t purchased their tickets for the Millpond Music Festival, which kicks off Friday, Sept. 16, can no longer get them
Accordionist Samantha Harvey and mandolinist Ashley Hoyer will be one of several acts at Millpond Music Fest. online and must be bought at the park gate.
Full weekend passes at the gate cost $125 per adult and $40 for youth kindergarten through 12th grade. Singleday passes also are available with adult tickets available for $35 for Friday, $55 for Saturday and $45 for Sunday.
