Support for Canal residents

Canal Alliance’s Financial Assistance Program provides emergency cash support from its Client Support Fund, helping Marin’s Latino immigrant community weather the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Many of the organization’s clients are hourly wage workers who face significant or total loss of income. Your donations help the program support those in need. Find information and donate online at canalalliance.org.

Finding forever homes

The Milo Foundation rescues dogs from shelters and then places them in foster homes until they find forever homes. Volunteers recently rescued 23 dogs from Bakersfield and brought them back to the Bay Area. Your donations help support the ongoing effort to save and find homes for dogs and cats. Volunteer fosters are welcome. Information about donations and volunteering are at milofoundation.org.
