TUESDAY >> “Buddy Guy: The Blues Chase the Blues Away” is a powerful new “American Masters” documentary that delves into the life and career of the legendary guitarist who has influenced many of today’s standout musicians. The film features never-before-seen performances by Guy, as well as interviews with Carlos Santana, Gary Clark Jr., Kingfish and others. (9 p.m., PBS).
WEDNESDAY >> “Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts” is an emotional and inspirational series in which the “Good Morning America” co-host leads intimate group conversations with some of Hollywood’s groundbreaking women. Guests include Debbie Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sheila E., Melissa Etheridge, Mickey Guyton, Billie Jean King, Tig Notaro and others. (Disney+).
THURSDAY >> Hoop dreams are about to come true for a few extraordinarily talented young men during the “2021 NBA Draft.” Guards Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State) and Jalen Green (G League Ignite) are expected to top the board at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. (5 p.m. PT, ESPN and ABC).
FRIDAY >> In the fourth and final season of the legal series “Burden of Truth,” Joanna Chang takes on the thorny case of Helen Graham (guest star Pamela Matthews). She’s a local farm owner whose land is standing firmly in the way of a mining project and the tide of public opinion is turning against her. (8 p.m., The CW).
FRIDAY >> It’s fitting that “Back on the Record With Bob Costas” debuts during the Summer Games. In his new gig, the longtime host of NBC’s Olympics coverage chats with top athletes and engages in roundtable discussions that address some of the key sports issues of the day. (11 p.m., HBO).
SATURDAY >> In the movie “Love, For Real,” a woman (Chloe Bridges) goes on a reality dating show for the wrong reason — to publicize her fashion line. But apparently nothing goes as planned. Could she actually find true love? Scott Michael Foster and Corbin Bleu also star. (9 p.m., Hallmark).
