Police arrest pair in bicycle robbery case
San Rafael police arrested two suspects on
robbery allegations after a bicycle theft downtown.
The alleged crime happened at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday on Tamalpais Avenue. Police determined that two people, at least one armed with a knife, stole a bicycle from its owner, according to Sgt. Justin Graham.
The suspects were located nearby and the victim was treated for minor injuries.
Andrew Hernandez, 18, of San Rafael was booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime. Police also booked the other suspect, who is a minor.
