Bay Area superstar Sammy Hagar is looking to have some “Crazy Times” this summer.

Of course, he is. What else is new?

The opening act on the tour is George Thorogood & the Destroyers, the group known for such fan favorites as “Who Do You Love,” “Move It On Over,” “Bad to the Bone,” “I Drink Alone” and “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer.” Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com.

There is a presale for members of Hagar’s Redhead Fan Club, beginning at 10a.m. Tuesday. Visit RedRocker.com for more information.

“A tour this size has been a long time coming and it’s definitely going to be worth the wait,” Hagar says.

“The Circle and I are super excited and ready to throw the party of the year with George Thorogood. We’re going to take the music and party to a whole new level — ‘Crazy Times’ is an understatement.”
