Recognition: Marin supervisor Judy Arnold; Novato councilmember Denise Athas; Daraja Academy co-founder Jenni Doherty; Marin County District Attorney Lori Frugoli; Center for Domestic Peace executive director Donna Garske; NovatoSpirit founder and executive director Marian Huntington; Marin County Department of Health and Human Services director Benita McLarin; North Marin Community Services chief exeuctive officer Cheryl Paddack; Mary Kay Sweeney, co-executive director of Homeward Bound of Marin; Samantha Tradelius, founder and executive director of the Sparkle Foundation, and Linda Witong, Soroptimist UN delegate, were honored at the Soroptimist International of Novato's 40th annual spring fundraiser.

Recognition: Sally Gale and Gail Seymour were awarded the Marin Conservation League's special award for environmental achievement for their work with the Chileno Valley Newt Brigade.
