Police arrest 4 at traffic checkpoint

Police arrested two intoxicated drivers and two people with outstanding warrants during a traffic checkpoint downtown.

The police department conducted the checkpoint Friday on De Long Avenue at Redwood Boulevard. The department said 1,141 drivers came through and 90 were pulled aside for further screening.

Aside from the arrests, police issued 41 citations for license violations.
