Homeless program contract approved

Marc Sabin, the city's homelessness program manager, will be transitioning into a part-time position as a consultant.

The City Council authorized the city manager to approve a consultant's contract with Sabin in an amount not to exceed $24,375 monthly. Sabin was hired in December with a starting salary of $144,900.

Sabin gave notice March 28, stating he would like to pursue other career opportunities. His final day as a full-time staffer is May 15. The move was approved May 2.
