Gina Daly is best choice for District 1 supervisor

-

I am pleased to support

Gina Daly in the election for the District 1 representative on the Marin County Board of Supervisors. She is someone who I know has the commitment and background needed to be an effective and collaborative county leader.

I first met Daly as a new neighbor and working mom with a growing young family. When she stepped up to lead the Terra Linda Homeowners' Association, I saw her commitment to local engagement and community building. As Daly moved from neighborhood engagement to serving as an elected member of the San Rafael City Schools Board of Education, her hard work and accolades from colleagues, students and education leaders confirmed that she knows how to address hard issues in a way that brings people together and gets things done.

In addition to local engagement, Daly's career in public policy at the state and federal levels over two decades has given her a degree of experience rarely seen at this level of public office.

Over the past several months, I've watched Daly in action as we've walked San Rafael's neighborhoods, talking to residents about their priorities and concerns, as well as how new resources, ideas and approaches could help move our county forward. I am confident Daly will bring a fresh perspective, new ideas and effective leadership to Marin County.

I hope you will join me in voting for Gina Daly for Marin County supervisor.
