Daly represents needed change for supervisors
I respectfully disagree with the IJ editorial board's endorsement of Mary Sackett over Gina Daly in the three-person race for District 1 supervisor in the June 7 election (“In close call for District 1 supervisor, Mary Sackett is the best pick,” May 12).
Both of those two candidates are well qualified, but Daly brings a new perspective. Marin County needs a new perspective. A prime example of differing viewpoints are illustrated around the issues of the redevelopment of the Golden Gate Village public housing community.
It looks to me like this is a choice between doing things as we have always done or attempting to improve the way our county does business. I vote for the change.
