Neighbor challenges expansion approval

A home expansion plan at 198 Stewart Drive has been appealed to the Design Review Board.

The homeowners want to build a 348-squarefoot addition on the second floor of the garage and a 43-square-foot addition on the first floor. They also want to convert about 44 square feet of the garage into living area.

The town planning office granted administrative approval last month. A neighbor on Hacienda Drive appealed, alleging insufficient public notice, detriment to views and other issues.
