Appeal filed over lot-split rejection
The city's decision to deny a lot-split application for a property in northwest Novato has been appealed to the Planning Commission.
The owner of 560 Trumbull Ave. filed the application in February under Senate Bill 9, the new law that allows residential properties to be divided into parcels for additional housing. The city's planning office rejected the request, citing an incomplete application and alleged zoning violations for unpermitted work.
Planning commissioners will hear the appeal during their meeting at 7 p.m. Monday. Project details and remote access instructions are available at bit.ly/3PsTJuK.
