Town Council makes board appointments

The Town Council approved a raft of appointments to municipal advisory boards this week.

The council reappointed Margaret Bandel and Phyllis Metcalfe and appointed Daniel Kenney to the Planning Commission. The terms are for two years.

For the Parks and Recreation Commission, the council reappointed Sarah

Elsen and Alden Miles and appointed Tim Rose to two-year terms. Alexander Blumling was named youth commissioner for a one-year term.

Nathan Blomgren and Ramon Garcia were reappointed to two-year terms to the Flood Control Board, and Manny Albano and Sachi Itagaki were appointed for twoyear terms.

The council reappointed Karen Gerbosi, Jean Greenbaum and

Karl Spurzem to two-year terms on the Sales Tax Citizens' Oversight Committee. Christopher McBride was appointed to a one-year term.

The council approved the appointments at its meeting on Tuesday.
