Karen Lee Price

April 5, 1961 – December 23, 2022

On December 23, 2022, Karen passed away at age 60.

Karen was born in San Francisco, California.

Karen enjoyed a carefree childhood in a neighborhood full of loving families in Terra Linda.

She grew up with five close siblings, sharing camping trips, Disneyland and memorable holiday traditions. The days of roaming freely across the neighborhoods and in the local hills were memorable.

Karen completed Terra Linda High School in 1980 and earned a Medical Assistant certificate. She held several positions in retail and was always the most sought-after employee in the store, with her incredible work ethic and helpful nature. Most recently, Karen qualified to begin a Pharmacy Technician internship, which she was immensely excited about and proud of.

Karen was an excellent cook, a talented crafter and had an expert green thumb. She also enjoyed fishing and classic rock, as well as watching movies – particularly with a companion and a bowl of ice cream.

Karen was the most supportive and caring friend anyone could have. Despite her own, sometimes daunting life challenges, she would give her last dollar or the shirt off her back to a friend in need. Her heart of gold and caring spirit never wavered, and she will be deeply missed.

Karen is survived by her brothers, Jeffrey Price of Forest Knolls, CA, and Joseph Price and sister-in-law Jessica Verhees (Price) of Fairfax, CA, her sisters, JoAnne Price (Lauer) of Castro Valley, CA, and Julie Price (Gianfermi) and brother-in-law John Gianfermi of Santa Rosa, CA, her nephews, Glenn and Jake Lauer of Castro Valley, CA, and Noah and Adam Price of Fairfax, CA, and her nieces, Giavanna and Sofia Gianfermi of Santa Rosa, CA. Karen is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Price, her mother, Nancy Morgan (Price), and her father, Charles Edward Price.
