Gabe Paulson best for District 2 supervisor seat
I am in full support of Gabe Paulson in the race to be the District 2 representative for the Marin County Board of Supervisors on the March 5 primary election ballot. As someone who works closely with youth facing substance use issues in our community, I am confident he is the candidate who truly understands and prioritizes this critical issue.
Paulson has dedicated himself to the cause of reducing underage substance use in our community. His four-year tenure as a Marin Healthy Youth Partnerships board member speaks volumes about his commitment.
He works tirelessly to reduce access to and the normalization of alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, vaping products and other illegal substances among our youth.
Paulson collaborated with community members to advocate for state legislation such as the Cannabis Candy Child Safety Act and Senate Bill 58, a psilocybin bill, to ensure protection for the underage population.
Paulson has an unwavering focus on health and human services, which is the cornerstone of Marin's well-being. With clinical experience and the support of esteemed health leaders like former Marin Health and Human Services Department director Larry Meredith, Paulson envisions a Marin with better day care facilities and reduced underage substance use. His emphasis on these issues is unmatched among the candidates.
Moreover, Paulson's deep commitment to our community is evident through his service as the mayor of Larkspur and his extensive volunteer work spanning two decades, including leadership positions. As a physicist educated at Princeton and the University of California, Berkeley, he demonstrated leadership abilities by founding and leading a software company.
He is the candidate we need to lead District 2. I would like you to join me in supporting Gabe Paulson for District 2 supervisor.
