Branson boys make Open Division; girls soccer teams earn high seeds
The release of the NorCal playoff brackets on Sunday saw the Branson School boys basketball team make the Open Division, girls basketball teams given a tough road, and girls soccer teams potentially set up for title runs.
Branson's 69-66 victory over San Ramon Valley on Saturday was enough to see the Bulls make more history as the first Marin basketball team to qualify for the NorCal Open playoffs.
Fresh off three section title wins on Friday night, the county's girls basketball teams face a tough road in NorCals with Marin Catholic drawing a No. 10 seed, Redwood getting a No. 12 seed, and San Domenico selected as a No. 15 seed.
Both girls soccer teams will stay in the county with Tam securing a No. 2 seed and Marin Catholic snagging the county's lone No. 1 seed.
