EAC hosts spring clean up
Spring Litter Bugs Me is coming up. Litter Bugs Me, a roadside cleanup effort, is a way to work together to protect West Marin’s watersheds, bays, oceans and wildlife throughout the year. In partnership with
Marin County, volunteers are needed to help clean up the roadsides ahead of the county’s annual roadside mowing program. Roadside mowers shred trash, which contributes to the formation of microplastics and makes it harder to clean up. Trash of all sizes threatens the health of terrestrial and marine wildlife as it spreads throughout our environment. Volunteers are needed from March 28-30 in Chileno Valley, Inverness and Inverness Park, Point Reyes and Olema,
Samuel P. Taylor and Platform Bridge Road,
San Geronimo Valley and Bolinas. For more information, visit eacmarin.org/spring-litter-bugs-me.
