Done Deal won the Gulf Coast Cham­pi­onship for a record third time with a to­tal of 921 points: first place with a tour­na­ment-record-break­ing blue mar­lin in the Or­ange Beach Bill­fish Clas­sic, sec­ond place in the Mis­sis­sippi Gulf Coast Bill­fish Clas­sic’s re­lease divi­sion, third in the Emer­ald Coast Blue Mar­lin Clas­sic’s re­lease divi­sion, sec­ond place in the Blue Mar­lin Grand Cham­pi­onship. Reel Ad­dic­tion placed sec­ond with a to­tal of 700 points: sec­ond-place blue mar­lin in the Ca­jun Canyons Bill­fish Clas­sic, and first place blue mar­lin in the Mis­sis­sippi Gulf Coast Bill­fish Clas­sic. Wyn­song placed third with a to­tal of 610 points: first-place blue mar­lin and sec­ond in the re­lease divi­sion of the Ca­jun Canyons Bill­fish Clas­sic.

Mis­ter Pete scored 7,875 points: first place in the Bo­hicket In­vi­ta­tional Bill­fish Tour­na­ment, first place in the Ge­orge­town Blue Mar­lin Tour­na­ment and first place in the Edisto In­vi­ta­tional Bill­fish Tour­na­ment. Sportin’ Life fin­ished with 6,275 points: sec­ond in the Carolina Bill­fish Clas­sic, and third in the Me­gadock Billfishing Tour­na­ment. Syked Out at­tained 5,175 points: third place in the Ge­orge­town Blue Mar­lin Tour­na­ment, and sec­ond place in the Edisto In­vi­ta­tional Bill­fish Tour­na­ment.

THE MIDAT­LANTIC Au­gust 19-24, 2018 Ocean City, Mary­land/ Cape May, New Jer­sey

Bill­fisher placed first over­all for re­leas­ing 18 white mar­lin and two blue mar­lin, as well as har­vest­ing 594 pounds of tuna; Texas Tea placed sec­ond with 17 white mar­lin and one blue mar­lin re­leased; Big Oil placed third, re­leas­ing 17 white mar­lin.
