CAISON 54

The latest from North Carolina’s Caison Yachts, Snafu is a 54-footer that is designed to chase marlin off the coast of Kona, Hawaii, specifically targeting the offshore seamounts that are seldom fished because of the distance and conditions. The boat will be equipped with a pair of Caterpillar C18 engines that will push Snafu to 38 knots wide-open, with a comfortable 30-knot cruise. The layout will be uniquely designed for those overnight adventures, and will have all the necessary fishing amenities, including a pair of 20 kW generators, an Eskimo ice chipper and a Seakeeper 9 gyrostabilizer.
