ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Capt. Chris Donato grew up on the East Coast, where his love for marlin fishing took him on a 10-year adventure to Samoa, Fiji, and Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu, in the South Pacific. He now calls Kona, Hawaii, home and is currently the owner of Grander Marlin Sportfishing, running his 37-foot Merritt, Benchmark, out of Honokohau Harbor. He is also an avid surfer and a new father.
