PELICAN YACHT CLUB BILLFISH TOURNAMENT

January 4-9, 2021

Fort Pierce, Florida

The team fishing aboard the 57-foot Scarborough Waterman won this year’s event with 31 sailfish releases. Dakeri, a 57-foot Spencer, was second with 10, and Vintage, a 43 Torres, placed third with nine sails released. Lo Que Sea and Intents placed fourth and fifth, respectively.

FISH FOR HOLLY

January 8-9, 2021 Islamorada, Florida

Olympic Gold led the tournament wire-to-wire to win with six sailfish releases. Top’d Out placed second, and Chasin’ Sails finished third. Ten-year-old CJ Hinckley swept the individual angler competition: grand champion angler, top male and top junior angler in a field of 266 anglers. The third-annual event hosted 63 boats.

SAILFISH CLUB OF FLORIDA GOLD CUP

January 12-16, 2021

Palm Beach, Florida

James Diller and the Canyon Lady team emerged victorious with 4,200 points, representing the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor. Dale Creamer’s Ditch Digger was second with 3,900 points, and Miss Texas landed in third with 3,300 points.
