Roy Merritt and the craftsmen at Merritt’s Boat & Engine Works in Pompano Beach, Florida, have construction underway of a new coldmolded 67-foot convertible. The four-stateroom, threehead layout maintains the classic look that defines this iconic brand. For the past four decades, Merritt’s has led the way in the use of fully molded advanced-composite construction in custom boat design. With MTU 12V2000 M96X engines producing 2,000 horsepower and utilizing state-of-the-art wake-adapted struts and rudders, the new 67 is projected to cruise at 32 knots and top out at 39 knots.
