Culver Farmer’s Market

-

The Culver Farmer’s Market launched the first winter market for Marshall County in November 2018. For years, the outdoor market held in the spring and summer has continued to grow and now includes Tuesday evening. Vendors provide home grown produce, family farm raised beef, botanical beauties, and craft goods. Civic organizations such as the Culver Lions and Culver Kiwanis frequent the market to welcome new members and promote fundraising opportunities to fund their various outreaches. Follow the market on Facebook and Instagram and contact the market at Culverfarmersmarket@gmail.com or call or text Tracy Fox at 301-922-3570. New vendors are always welcome. Sometimes the best things in life are the simple things. Have you ever tried a tomato sandwich with mayonnaise, salt and pepper? I purchased fresh home grown tomatoes from Flower Hill Farms of Akron from their booth at the Culver Farmers’ Market for mine and they were delicious. Rebecca Martin has had a booth at the market for six years, their farm was established nine years ago. The Culver Farmers’ Market is held every Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Culver Town Park.
