space and add something new and exciting. Schricker states, “I’m really excited about the upcoming TV show, that has been a long process and I think it turned out really great. Just like the Wild Rose Moon Radio Show, it will only get better as time goes on.” The Wild Rose Moon tries to include a variety of different events for the community from live concerts from established bands to a first viewing of a newly written play. Community support is a primary focus for Schricker and Heintzberger leading them to host a play written by a recent Plymouth

High School graduate in the summer of 2020.

Schricker and Heintzberger try to promote a community oriented space at the Wild Rose Moon. Schricker states, “People come in from all over and say how lovely it is. It’s like a little community for creative people. We have open mics for regional people and people from the community. They all get to network with each other. Musicians that have never played together play together. Singers sing together. It’s a community within the community. Everyone here is deeply connected to the arts. We strive to be a creative community that produces things. Original acts and works. The production of original creative material is really what we are all about.”

Schricker states, “I learn something about performance no matter what we’re doing. Every artist on the stage has something to teach you. I learn something from each and every one of them. Open mics promote confidence and the process of creativity. Jam nights help people with their technical skills with their instruments. Improv helps develop communication skills. All of these promote the skills you need to work to develop something. All of these things are taught here at the Moon for free at these events.” In the next several years, Schricker aims to add a variety show to the Wild Rose Moon event repertoire focusing on regional talent and continuing to promote the implementation of the arts in the Plymouth community.

Wild Rose Moon can be found at 115 N Michigan St in downtown Plymouth or on their Facebook page.
