Business Connection

A love letter to our community

-

Dear all Lakehouse staff, patrons & friends:

When we learned we could include an editorial in this magazine we knew right away we wanted to take the time to write a thank you letter to who we consider our extended family. We know it may seem a bit unorthodox to focus on a “love letter” instead of marketing our business but hey, it’s been a strange year. In fact, one year ago from the day we write this letter was the first day we were forced to shut down operations. Of course, we did not stay down long. There were certainly ups and downs but here we are; optimistic as ever for what comes next.

We are honored to be here, still standing, fully aware that our future remains intact because so many of you chose to trust us! Our staff trusted us as they opted to continue working and many of our patrons continued to believe that they would be safe at The Lakehouse Grille; for these simple commitments we are eternally grateful! At the same time, our hearts truly go out to all that have experienced any hardship over this last year.

The amount of immense pride we feel for our community has constantly helped propel us forwards. Thank you to each and every one of you who have contributed to that source of pride. To those of you who are reading this and have never been to The Lakehouse, we can tell you this; while we know there are many great restaurants out there, we would be honored to earn your trust as one of your restaurants. Your potential happiness is our priority, as is our unwavering desire to continue to please all our guests. Thank you all for your hard work, support and loyalty.

Deepest Regards, Mark & Dana Damore (& Liam too)
