Find Your Tent Style

Martha Stewart Weddings - - THE PLANNER -

POLE (AKA TENSION) TENTS

are the least expensive and are probably what you picture as a wedding tent. The interior poles create sweeping peaks and a downward-sloping ceiling, making for an airy, stylish look.

STRUCTURE TENTS

are the most expensive, and often look more like temporary buildings, thanks to the walls and sturdy framework. The heavy aluminum body can support elaborate décor, while the generous open space makes them ideal for long, extended tables.

FRAME TENTS

are constructed similarly to structures, but are modular and more customizable in size and shape than the other two styles. They can be anchored rather than staked into the ground, making them great for setting up on pavement or concrete, or in tight spaces.
