Chamber of Commerce’s MAC board selects new officers
On Oct. 16, the board of directors for the Military Alliance Council of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce met and elected its new officers at the Black Box Theatre in Indian Head, according to a news release.
Vincent Hungerford is the new president, Edward Holland is vice president, Sheila Zattau is treasurer and Pamela Frank is secretary and executive director.
According to the release, Hungerford thanked immediate past president Brian Klaas for his years of service on the MAC and in the community.
The Military Alliance Council was established in 2015 by the chamber to serve as a liaison between the defense and civilian communities in Charles County in recognition of the important role the defense industry and the military play in the quality of life for citizens, as well as the local economy.
