Cham­ber of Com­merce’s MAC board se­lects new of­fi­cers

On Oct. 16, the board of di­rec­tors for the Mil­i­tary Al­liance Coun­cil of the Charles County Cham­ber of Com­merce met and elected its new of­fi­cers at the Black Box Theatre in In­dian Head, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease.

Vin­cent Hunger­ford is the new pres­i­dent, Ed­ward Hol­land is vice pres­i­dent, Sheila Zat­tau is trea­surer and Pamela Frank is sec­re­tary and ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor.

Ac­cord­ing to the re­lease, Hunger­ford thanked im­me­di­ate past pres­i­dent Brian Klaas for his years of ser­vice on the MAC and in the com­mu­nity.

The Mil­i­tary Al­liance Coun­cil was es­tab­lished in 2015 by the cham­ber to serve as a li­ai­son be­tween the de­fense and civil­ian com­mu­ni­ties in Charles County in recog­ni­tion of the im­por­tant role the de­fense in­dus­try and the mil­i­tary play in the qual­ity of life for cit­i­zens, as well as the lo­cal econ­omy.
