Caltrans sets road work for upcoming week

Caltrans plans to limit most trafficint­erfering work during the weekend before the Fourth of July holiday weekend as it continues its projects in the MidValley.

Work will be limited from 6 a.m. Friday through midnight July 4.

This week, California Department of Transporta­tion projects include, in Yuba County:

Highway 20, or 10th Street between I and E streets in Marysville – West- and eastbound intermitte­nt lane and shoulder restrictio­ns from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. daily through Thursday and 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.

Highway 70, or E Street between Fourth and Fifth streets in Marysville – Northbound intermitte­nt lane and shoulder restrictio­ns from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. daily through Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday; southbound intermitte­nt lane and shoulder restrictio­ns from 10 p.m.-5 a.m. daily through Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.

The Caltrans long-term $7 million proj- ect continues on Highways 20/70, or 10th and E streets in Marysville, to comply with new Americans with Disabiliti­es Act requiremen­ts on Highway 20 between I and E streets and on Highway 70 at Fifth Street.

In Sutter County, Caltrans projects include:

Highway 20 between the Yuba City railroad crossing and Civic Center Drive – The westbound right shoulder is closed from 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday.

Highway 99 between Elm Street and Ramsell Drive/Adeline Avenue – Both the north- and southbound right shoulders are closed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily through Friday.

In Colusa County, lane restrictio­ns are expected daily from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. daily through Friday at:

Highway 5 between the E Street overcrossi­ng and Lurline Creek.

Highway 20 between King Road and Schaad Road, and between East Camp Road and Freshwater/Virginia.

Highway 45 between White and Browning roads and Wilkins Slough, and between Dodge Road and the Glenn County line.
