Hobbies, interests: Books, biking, art and Kenpo karate.
What brought you to the Yuba-sutter area? Born and raised.
What do you like about the Yuba-sutter area? We are close to everything – one hour to the mountains, two hours to the ocean, one hour to a larger city but still in a great community.
Where would you like to retire to/live for a year? Malaysia or Italy.
Dream vacation: Anywhere where I could have an adventure.
What would you do with a million dollars? Pay off my house and invest the rest.
Favorite memory to share: The Bok Kai festival (was) this weekend. I always had fun going there when I was young, watching and participating in the parade and bomb day. Steve Lim of Yuba City was born and raised in the Yuba-sutter area and is always trying to improve himself. His favorite memory to share was this past Saturday’s Bok Kai Festival.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A famous artist. Currently, I have a show up at the Brick in Marysville.
Favorite places in the area: I like to walk the Sutter Bike Trail.
Dream job: I think that I have a great job, but would still like to be a famous artist.

What do you like about yourself? I’m always trying to improve myself. I ride my bike to work, exercise daily, try to eat well and try to be a good person.
What/where is your heaven on earth? Having a great meal with friends.
Favorite book: “Kafka On the Shore” by Haruki
Murakami or “1984” by George Orwell.
What movie stops you while flipping through the TV channels? Any Star Wars.
Favorite musical group/ sports team: I don’t have a favorite sports team, and for musical groups I like alternative, acoustic indie folk music.
Who should play you in a movie? A young Jackie Chan.
