Sacramento rapper released from juvenile hall

Sorbello said the suspect’s case will remain in juvenile court.

“Sosa” was arrested May 4 by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s gang unit on suspicion of robbery. The arrest stems from an incident that reportedly occurred on Dec. 10, 2017, at the Circle A gas station in Marysville. The suspect allegedly set up a meeting with three individual­s to purchase three pounds of marijuana. When they arrived, the suspect allegedly brandished a dark-colored handgun and robbed them of the marijuana.

The victims told police they had advertised the marijuana for sale on Facebook. One of them had reportedly been in contact with the suspect and set up the meeting over Facebook messenger.

“Sosa” has well over 5 million Youtube views for music videos he has made. The victims reportedly saw one of the suspect’s music videos on Facebook following the robbery, which ultimately led police to the juvenile’s arrest.
