Yuba City Cheer teams recognized at camp; members earn bid to perform at Citrus Bowl

Members of the Yuba City High Cheer freshman, junior varsity and varsity cheer squads attended camp in July and were recognized and earned Superior/first/ Second place trophies and ribbons for their dance, cheer, stunt and pyramid performanc­es. All squads earned the top banana and traditions award in Reno, Nev., at the Grand Sierra Resort and earned a bid to perform at the New Year’s Eve Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. Members of the team are: Freshman: Abby Mikolaich, Ashley Louis, Brooke Viada,california Soto, Carly Mikaelsen, Kaylee Quintana, Kodi Hargrove, Lilly Brown, Nataleah Yanez, Natalie Nivens.

JV: Riley Cadger, Taylor White, Kyle Daoheuang, Abigail Monroe, Isabella Arias, Alina Barajas, Olivia Rudstrom, Natalie Cosper, Raena Nichols, Lexi Blades, Riley Mcpeak, Nadia Whisler, Carlee Atkins.

V: Megan Potts, Eva Lopez, Alina Quintana, Jolie Rizzo Pabst, Deja Eversdyk, Kaylee Erick, Victoria Cotton, Alecsandra Downs, Summer Givens, Mackenzie Stahlberg, Sara Guidera.

YCHS cheerleade­rs Jolie Rizzo Pabst, Raena Nichols, Deja Eversdyk, Taylor White, Mackenzie Stahlberg, Kyle Daoheuang, and Ashley Louis were named All American Cheerleade­r and were selected to perform in the London, England, New Year’s Day Parade.

The teams coaches are Pamela Mckinley, Whitney Nava and Devyn Eversdyk.
