Last Monday the Fishing League Worldwide announced 170 anglers who qualified to be on the 2019 season tour – one of which was Yuba City’s very own Aaron Britt.

Britt’s first chance to hit the water this season will come on Jan. 10 when the season kicks off at Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Brookeland, Texas.

Other notable locations include Grand Lake in Grove, Okla. on March 28 and Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Ark. on Aug. 10.

Entering his third season on the FLW tour, Britt has accumulated over $135,000 in earnings. In each tour event the winner can take up to $125,000, with the final FLW Cup handing out $300,000 to the top champion.

In a normal season, the FLW qualifies 150 anglers to its tour, but with 170 this season, the committee will have to reassess its pay structure.

“With the demand we saw this year to join the FLW Tour, we couldn’t be more eager to kick off another season at Sam Rayburn Reservoir in January,” said Bill Taylor, FLW’S Senior Director of Tournament Operations. “FLW has long been the home to some of the most decorated bass anglers in the sport.”

The complete FLW Tour roster for the 2019 season can be found at Flwfishing.com. Yuba City angler Aaron Britt will make his third appearance on the 2019 Fishing League worldwide tour. The season tour starts on Jan. 10 in Brookeland, Texas.
