In the future, Illyaas wants to play at the next level and said that he will do whatever it takes to get there. While he has not yet made a decision on his future, his focus right now is on the postseason.

This season has been special for Marysville as they finished the regular season with a 20-8 record overall and a 7-3 record in league, including a second place finish.

Moving forward, Rafiq and the Indians want to make a run in order to help bring a title back to Marysville.

“It’s time for us to focus and get to work,” said Rafiq.
