WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT

As their second anniversary approaches, the couple reminisces about their wedding day.

Chris Johansen of Orland married his longtime love, Brenda Towne of Etna, in the shadows of the Castle Craigs. Chris said they have just returned from their honeymoon. They have spent this last year and a half traveling and remodeling their home.

Their wedding was held July 2, 2017 at Dunsmuir Rail Road Park.

The wedding party consisted of Brenda’s four boys and Chris’s daughter and son.

Two of Brenda’s sons are active duty in the army and Chris’ son is a marine. The sight of these three young men in uniform was inspirational.

The small wedding was attended by close friends and family. The happy couple spent their honeymoon on an Alaska cruise and haves settled in Roseburg, Ore.

Their first anniversary was spent at the Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B where they watched Whales spout and sipped tea on the 120 year old porch. A return trip is planned for this summer.
