Ag season in full bloom
A head-on collision in Sutter County on Friday afternoon, involving a backhoe and a semi-truck, shows the hazards that come with ag season, California Highway Patrol Officer Duane Nokes said.
“It’s the time of year where ag is going again, so people need to be careful with ag equipment, burning, and stuff on the roads,” Nokes said.
From Butte Road to Highway 70, tractors are no surprise, so CHP wants to remind motorists to slow down and pay attention to what is going on in the roadway.
