Over the course of one year, jurors will investigate the operations of various officers, department and agencies of local government including city and county offices, school districts and special districts, according to a court press release. The term begins July 1 and ends June 30 with a commitment that may require 4 to 10 hours per week. To be qualified, candidates must have lived in Sutter County for at least one year, be a U.S. citizen, be at least 18 years old, and have sufficient knowledge of English.

Those who are interested may submit an application, located online at: https://tinyurl.com/ y5ushklo. There will be an interview before final approval for the 17-person panel.
