Yuba City native named to dean’s list at Bates College

Jag Lally of Yuba City, Calif., was named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2019. This is a distinctio­n earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.8 or higher.

Lally, the child of Kulwinder S. Lally and Kuldeep K. Lally of Yuba City, Calif., is a 2016 graduate of Sacramento Country Day School. They are a senior majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry at Bates.

Though we have been delayed in sharing this news due to our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, please know that our pride in our students who reached this high level of academic achievemen­t is as strong as ever. Congratula­tions to Jag and to all of the students on our Dean’s List!

University of Wyoming spring semester President’s Honor Roll

The University of Wyoming lists 28 students from California on the 2020 spring semester President’s Honor Roll – including Anna L. Wehrly, of Marysville.

The President’s Honor Roll consists of regularly enrolled undergradu­ates who earned a 4.0 (“A”) grade-point average for the semester. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.
