J e r r y Pat t e r s o n, passed away on January 19, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Jerry was born January 8, 1940, i n Beeville, Texas, and found his way to California at a young age with his dad.

Jerry went to school here i n California at Marysville High. Jerry then went on out of high school and started working at Canova Moving and Storage. He retired and then went to work with his sister at t h e B& M Caf e . He worked there over 20 years until t he cafe closed i n 2001.

Jerry is preceded in death by his lovely wife that he adored, Dorothy Patterson; and his grandson, Charles S myt h e .

Jerry is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Patterson of Olivehurst, Regina Degner of Wisconsin; and 1 son, Jerry Wayne Patterson, Jr. of Olivehurst. Jerry had 1 sister, Betty Eaves; and 1 brother, Marvin Patterson; and many half siblings. He also had 12 grandchild­ren, and many great-grandchild­ren. He was also very close to all his nieces and nephews.

This world l ost a very special man who was loved by so many. He was the kindest and most giving man you would ever meet. He would never turn anyone away that needed help! He was the best dad, uncle, brother, and grandpa anyone could ask for. He worked hard all his life and gave to anyone that was i n need. Jerry's house was the "hang out house back in the day"! Jerry never failed to flirt with the pretty girls. All the girls were pretty to him. He wil l b e g r e a t l y miss e d .

There will be a celebratio­n of life on February 20, 2021, at 1:00pm at Christ Has Risen Ministries, 1225 Pasado Road, Olivehurst, CA 95961.
