Judith Lynn Knolle

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sylvia Rodriguez Halverson, 54, of Stockton, on April 17, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Sylvia was a graduate of Lindhurst High School and California State University, Stanislaus. She was also a member of Lambda Sigma Gamma. Sylvia worked for El Concilio for the Spanish Speaking in Stockton for several years. She was a very creative and talented person who in her free time loved doing arts and crafts. Sylvia was so creative and talented that her family always put her in charge of planning all parties.

Sylvia leaves behind the love of her life, Christopher Halverson; and her children whom she loved so much, Alysandra Halverson of Stockton and Skyelar (Cheyenne) Halverson of Georgia. She is also survived by her mother, Valentina Rodriguez of Olivehurst; brother, Jose (Carrie) Rodriguez of Stockton; and sisters, Marisela Rodriguez of Olivehurst, and Veronica (Quynh) Tran of Roseville; nephews, Mario (Christiana) Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas and Nicholas Rodriguez of Stockton; nieces, Angelica (Lucas) Massoth of Mountain View and Danielle (Rick) Inzunza of Stockton. She leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren who all loved her very much.

She is preceded in death by her father, Raul Rodriguez; brother, Mario Rodriguez; paternal grandparents, Antonio and Crecencia Rodriguez; maternal grandparents, Natividad and Dorotea Manriquez; uncles, Jesus Rodriguez, Natividad Manriquez and Francisco Manriquez; aunt, Irma Rodriguez; cousins, Olivia Rodriguez Mccommas, Juan Angel Rodriguez and Gerado Rodriguez.

Rosary will be at St. Joseph Church on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11 am at St. Joseph Church with interment to follow at Sierra View Cemetery.

Judith Lynn Knolle (nee Mitchell), passed away on April 11, 2022. She was 79.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2022, at 10 am at the Loma Rica Community Church in Loma Rica.

Judith was born on September 21, 1942, in San Francisco, California, to Martha Lasource and William Mitchell. She lived with family in both San Francisco and Modesto, finishing high school in San Francisco where she met her first husband, Frederic Knolle. They were married in 1961 and divorced in 1968. They had 2 children, son, Richard and daughter, Andrea.

Through mutual friends Judith met her second husband, Frank Agamau and in 1974, they married in Hawaii. As a family they moved to Burlingame in 1974. Judith and Frank divorced in 1983.

Judith's career was in banking, working for several financial institutions. She retired in 2000 from University National Bank and Trust Company in Palo Alto, California. Judith moved to Loma Rica in 2004 where she enjoyed her retirement.

After moving to Loma Rica Judith volunteered for the Sheriff’s Team of Active Residents in Service (STARS) program and the local Lyon’s Club of Loma Rica. Judith was an active member of the Oregon Peak Fire Lookout volunteers under the California Department of Forestry. She loved to travel making several trips to Mexico, Hawaii, Europe and a trip to China. She was an enthusiastic family road tripper making trips to several states and Washington D.C.

She was a loving mother to her children and grandmother to her four granddaughters who were her pride and joy. She was friend to many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her son, Richard Knolle, daughter-in-law, Cheryl (nee Houser) and granddaughters, Samantha Blatnik (nee Knolle) of San Diego, Hazel and Laurel Knolle; daughter, Andrea Janecek (nee Knolle), son-in-law, Robert, and granddaughter, Madeline of Evanston, Illinois.

Memorial Contributions can be made in her name to the Salvation Army.
