Thomas Amsy Nascimento, Jr., 29, of Yuba City, CA, passed away April 16, 2022. He was a resident of Yuba-sutter area, born July 21, 1992. He was a constructi­on worker for Western Foam Inc.

Tommy, Jr. loved being with his family and friends. He had a huge heart and loved to make people laugh. He was always singing and cracking jokes. He lived life to the fullest! He enjoyed fishing, jet skiing, dirt bike riding, camping and football. His motto was “Freedom is the miles I’m rolling on, enjoy life like you should.”

We are saddened by this unexpected loss but take comfort in rememberin­g all the beautiful memories he gave us. His smile and laughter were infectious and he will never be forgotten.

Survivors include his father and mother, Tom and Melissa Nascimento; sister, Alicia Barry; niece, Hannah Barry; and nephew, Camden Saavedra.

Graveside service will be Friday, April 29, 2022, 2:00 pm at Sutter Cemetery. A Celebratio­n of Life will be Saturday, May 14, 2022, 2:00 pm at South Ridge Estates.

In addition to her parents, Rene was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi; her brother, Jerry Daum; and brothers-in-law, Oscar Hall, Jackson Gallup, and Dan Sawicki; sister, Marilyn Howard; and sister-in-law, Marjorie Daum.

Rene will be missed by her siblings, Beverly Hall, George Daum, Jim (Laura) Daum, and Peggy (Todd) Lund; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda (Will) Whitaker, Janet (Tres) Wiley and Sue Sawicki. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, many who refer to her as "Rad Rene". Rene enjoyed many family vacations at Lake Tahoe with them. Rene also enjoyed many great-nieces and nephews as well.

Rene will be remembered for her smile, laughter, her great computer knowledge, amazing organizati­onal skills, her love of everything pink, Latte's, slot machines, old westerns and sports; especially the San Francisco Giants.

Rene was very creative and had a talent for handiwork and quilting. She made many beautiful quilts for babies of family and friends. Rene was competitiv­e in nature and this was evident when the family gathered for an occasional card game.

Rene enjoyed antique thimbles and was a member of the Bay Area Thimble Society (BATS) where she planned and hosted the thimble convention in San Francisco, CA. Rene also loved to travel and was able to enjoy many trips overseas during her retirement as well as in the states.

Rene was a gem; thoughtful, smart and fun. She had a strong love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

In keeping with Rene's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family celebratio­n of life will be planned at a later date.

Judith Lynn Knolle (nee Mitchell), passed away on April 11, 2022. She was 79.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2022, at 10 am at the Loma Rica Community Church in Loma Rica.

Judith was born on September 21, 1942, in San Francisco, California, to Martha Lasource and William Mitchell. She lived with family in both San Francisco and Modesto, finishing high school in San Francisco where she met her first husband, Frederic Knolle. They were married in 1961 and divorced in 1968. They had 2 children, son, Richard and daughter, Andrea.

Through mutual friends Judith met her second husband, Frank Agamau and in 1974, they married in Hawaii. As a family they moved to Burlingame in 1974. Judith and Frank divorced in 1983.

Judith's career was in banking, working for several financial institutio­ns. She retired in 2000 from University National Bank and Trust Company in Palo Alto, California. Judith moved to Loma Rica in 2004 where she enjoyed her retirement.

After moving to Loma Rica Judith volunteere­d for the Sheriff’s Team of Active Residents in Service (STARS) program and the local Lyon’s Club of Loma Rica. Judith was an active member of the Oregon Peak Fire Lookout volunteers under the California Department of Forestry. She loved to travel making several trips to Mexico, Hawaii, Europe and a trip to China. She was an enthusiast­ic family road tripper making trips to several states and Washington D.C.

She was a loving mother to her children and grandmothe­r to her four granddaugh­ters who were her pride and joy. She was friend to many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her son, Richard Knolle, daughter-in-law, Cheryl (nee Houser) and granddaugh­ters, Samantha Blatnik (nee Knolle) of San Diego, Hazel and Laurel Knolle; daughter, Andrea Janecek (nee Knolle), son-in-law, Robert, and granddaugh­ter, Madeline of Evanston, Illinois.

Memorial Contributi­ons can be made in her name to the Salvation Army.

Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
