Mohan Singh Dhesi, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his beloved family. He was born February 15, 1935, in Dhesian Kahna in Punjab, India.

Mohan spent his youth in Punjab where he studied agricultur­al business. He then worked as a Village Developmen­t Officer where he advised and assisted villagers in matters of community welfare and land developmen­t.

Mohan came to the United States in 1978, with his late wife, Mohinder Kaur and three children. Unfortunat­ely, in the early 80’s, he was diagnosed with Glaucoma and was unable to work. Mohan will be remembered for his integrity, wisdom and amazing math skills.

Mohan is survived by his son, Devinder (Jeavan) of Yuba City, his daughter, Jasvinder (Arvinder) Dhugga of Yuba City, his daughter, Parmjit (Kamaljeet) Kahlon; his grandsons, Avneet Kahlon, Amitpal (Jasveena) Dhugga, Aronpal Dhugga, Devin Dhesi, Ajay Kahlon; his granddaugh­ters, Maneek Kahlon and Amreen Dhesi; and his sister, Gian K. Bhangal (Pargan Singh) of Calgary, Canada.

Mohan is preceded in death by his late wife, Mohinder Kaur Dhesi.

Services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 11:00am at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, CA. Prayers will follow at Tierra Buena Sikh Temple, 2468 Tierra Buena Road, Yuba City, CA.

Connie Hudgins, 79, of Olivehurst passed away April 19, 2022, peacefully with family by her side. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, Connie was a Yuba Sutter resident most of her life.

Connie's employment included a beautician, real estate agent, owner of a grocery store, and secretary. When she semi-retired she became the office manager for her Husband's windshield business until the both officially retired.

She was such a wonderful person with a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. She enjoyed her retirement traveling for their annual trips to Oregon and Arizona, Casinos, fishing, camping trips; espe- cially at East Park, watching her grandson race, going to Vegas to meet up with her sister, New Orleans for Mardi Gras, Cabo and cruises with family and friends. She loved Elvis Presley but most importantl­y she loved spending time with and spoiling her children, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. She loved them dearly.

Connie is survived by her daughter Terri (Ron) Massey; a son Rich (Lisa) Hudgins; 5 grandchild­ren, Chris (Theresa) Warner, Shawna,(rick) Bailey, Brianna Hudgins (Spencer), Trevor Massey, and Shelby (Mickey) Doherty; 8 great-grandchild­ren; 1 sister Debbie (Mike) Langston; 2 brothers, Leroy (Sharlene) Eichelberg­er and Edward Eichelberg­er; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hudgins; 2 brothers, Darrell Triplett and Michael Eichelberg­er.

The memorial service is at 11:30 am, Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City. The Pastor Jim Anderson will officiate. A reception will follow at the Arboga Community Center, 1662 Broadway St., Olivehurst / Arboga. In lieu of flowers please donate to a cancer organizati­on of your choice.

1936-2022

Donna grew up in Gridley and Wheatland. She settled in Marysville after she married. She was loving, funny, and hardworkin­g. God and her children were her highest priority, and when her grandsons were born they took center stage in her life. She enjoyed nature, always feeling the need to care for and protect it.

Donna is survived by her children, Kiersten of Monterey, CA, and Nicholas of Loma Rica, CA; as well as her grandchild­ren, Jordan of Stanford, CA, and Logan of Loma Rica, CA.

Services were held with an attendance of 130.

Matthew David Huffmaster was born on August 7, 1974, to David and Roberta Huffmaster of Yuba City, CA. He died in Sacramento on December 28, 2021.

His grandparen­ts were Leonard and Grace Hanson of Yuba City, CA, and Wilson and Vesta Huffmaster of Sites, CA. He went to school in Yuba City and was a graduate of Sutter Union High School, Sutter, and Chico State University, Chico.

He attended Christ Community Church in Carmichael and worked in technical support for the San Juan School District in Sacramento. He enjoyed hiking, hunting, target shooting, computer games and taking his daughters on camping trips and other outings.

He is survived by his father, David Huffmaster of Sutter, CA; two daughters, Amelia and Abigail Huffmaster of Wheatland, CA; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Huffmaster of Sutter, CA.

A celebratio­n of his life will be held at Christ Community Church, Carmichael, CA, on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 1:00 PM.

Neil was born in Woodland to his parents Warren and Lois Gunther on June 28, 1955. He grew up and went to school in Woodland, while working on the family farm. He was a part of Woodland High School’s graduating class of 1973. He went on to Sac State College.

The 80’s held a lot of good things for Neil. He started his own farming business in 1980 under Neil Gunther Farms. In the same year he met the love of his life, Lynn. They married 6 years later.

The 90’s were even better. In 1992 he and Lynn started L&N Farms in Robbins. They also bought land and started constructi­on on their home on the Big Island in Hawaii. A few years later they started growing their coffee. That was their Dream to accomplish together, and they did! In 1994 Neil and Lynn welcomed their son, Curtis. Neil was so excited to have a son!

Neil spent the next several decades alongside his lovely wife accomplish­ing many more dreams. They expanded both their rice and coffee farms, watched their son grow up and get married, while enjoying everything he had accomplish­ed in his life.

Neil is survived by his wife Lynn (Curtis) Gunther, son Curtis Gunther and daughterin-law, Shelby (Cotter) Gunther. He was preceded in death by his father Warren and mother Lois.

The family is hosting a Celebratio­n of Life for friends and family on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 12:00 at the family farm, in Robbins, at the address 18433 Armour Rd, Knights Landing, Ca 95645.
