Clarence Pierson III, lifelong resident of the Yuba-sutter area, born March 8, 1973, passed on April 23, 2022, at the age of 49.

Clarence was a man of his word, a thoughtful husband of 24 years, an incredible father, a caring son, and a loyal friend. As an active member of the Yubasutter communitie­s, Clarence was well respected by many.

He enjoyed sports, playing semi-pro football for the Twin Cities Cougars but most of all loved coaching youth football. A coach of 20+ years, Clarence volunteere­d and served as a coach for the Twin Cities Wildcats, Jr. Blazers, Jr. Falcons, and River Valley High School football organizati­ons.

Clarence created unbreakabl­e bonds with fellow coaches and helped shape countless young athletes into the people they are today, with his leadership, passion, patience, and guidance on and off the football field.

He was an avid fisherman and loved a good TV show. Most of all, he loved being surrounded by family and friends, creating lasting memories we will hold dear to our hearts.

Clarence is preceded in death by his daughter, Kayla Lizama-pier- son; as well as his grandparen­ts, Joe and Idella Moore; aunt, Mary Smith; uncles, Allan Moore, and Johnny Moore; and cousin, Lucien Dillard.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Angelina Pierson; his children, Kendra Lizama-pierson, Clarence Pierson IV, and Kelsie Lizama-pierson; his mother; Martha Hampton; and limitless family and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, 10:00 am, at the Chapel of the Twin Cities on Shasta Street in Yuba City. Reception to follow at River Valley High School Gymnasium.

Virgil Earl Harris, 82, of Yuba City, CA, passed away in his sleep, Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Earl was born in Uplands, CA, on February 9, 1940. Throughout his lifetime he worked tirelessly and lovingly for the benefit of his clients, customers and community.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Sylvia Harris, children Deborah Zuccula, Jackie Wilson, Kimberly Sharp and Michael Harris, grandchild­ren Jennifer and Bradley Watts, Melanie Muelna and Kristen Debler and one greatgrand­child.

A private cremation will be held at Chapel of the Twin Cities in Yuba City.

Clifford O. Graham, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, 29 April 2022 of natural causes. He was born 17 September 1930 to Cletis and Alma Mae Graham of Alma, Arkansas.

Cliff was retired from Gladding Mcbean, Interpace, Lincoln, CA for many years. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church Live Oak, CA. Cliff was an avid dog-lover and enjoyed gardening.

Beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn Graham. Devoted father of Ronald Graham (deceased) (Pang), Janice Gould (Larry), Pam Cooper (Allen), and Tim Graham (Tammy).

Dear brother to Robert Graham of Redgranite, WI, Wanda Woods, Spiro, OK, Jerry Graham, Galt, CA, and Dora Dean Ramsey (deceased). Cliff is also survived by several grandchild­ren and greatgrand­children.

Sally Louise Michelet, of Yuba City, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022 at the age of 83. She was born December 6, 1938, in Yuba City, California, to Willard and Jessie Bailey. She attended school in the Yuba Sutter area. Sally truly loved her family and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren. She was always involved with her children and grandchild­ren’s extracurri­cular activities. She was also a lifetime member of the National Modified Midget Associatio­n.

Survivors include her four children; Raymond N. Michelet Jr. (Christine) of Gridley, Ca., Mark A. Michelet of Oroville, Ca., Cheryl R. Weber of Yuba City, Ca., Janice L. Hill (Stephen) of Yuba City, Ca., 11 grandchild­ren, 20 great grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband Ray; both her parents as well as 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

A celebratio­n of life will be held at 1pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the Gridley Moose Lodge, a buffet lunch will be available.

November 3, 1929April 21, 2022 Georgia Blair Poulos died on April 21, 2022, at the age of 92. She is survived by two of her four children and numerous grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

Georgia was the long time owner and operator of the “Uriz on A” restaurant and bar where she was well known for her hospitalit­y, dinner rolls and soups.

On May 28, 1988, after the death of their respective spouses, Georgia married Colonel William E. Poulos, AUS (Ret.), at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marysville, California. World-wide adventures were then opened to Georgia.

For many years, the couple took extended yearly trips to Europe to visit with long-time friends in London, (where they shared a flat with a Knight of the British Empire, who had fought in World War II with Bill); in Germany, on the Romantic Road; in Switzerlan­d; and, in Nice, on the French Riviera, (where they shared a villa with a Swedish army officer, who had been in the Arctic with Bill). Colonel Poulos pre-deceased Georgia in 2017.

A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Corning, California, at 11:00 a.m. on May 12, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, preceded by a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Georgia will then be buried following the Mass in Corning near the “Raiser family plot” shared by her parents.
