Christine White

Christine White, 82, passed away on April 28, 2023 in Lincoln, CA. She was born in French Camp, CA to Adolf Velarde and Martha Pleines on November 14, 1940. Christine was raised in Stockton, CA. She graduated from Franklin High School and moved to Yuba City in 1959.

She worked at D.P.M. (Excel) for 30 years. She was a butcher for 20 years, the first woman meat cutter in Nothern California.

She had many hobbies. She loved to cook, travel, read, crossword puzzles, doodle art and going with friends to casinos. She loved to collect Beanie Babies and coins. She loved the Sacramento Kings and was a Perry Mason buff.

Chris is survived by her 3 children, William M. White, Dana Donavan (the late Sean Donovan) and Kelly White, 3 grandchildren, Shane, Colum, Conor, family friend Pat Eubanks and Bro The Pug and many friends.

She is preceded in death by William O. White, Adolf Velarde, Martha Cardinal, Robert Velarde, Frank Velarde, John Velarde, Geraldine Stewart and her dog Maggie.
