Donald Miller, 88, of Olivehurst, California, passed away on June 1, 2023. Don was born on March 29, 1935, to Leo and Marion Miller. He was a graduate from Chico State University with a Master of Arts in Physical Education. Don spent his career as a Physical Education teacher and coach at Yuba Gardens Middle School for 41 years. He coached several sports throughout his career to include Flag Football, Track, and Baseball, but nothing was as close to his heart as coaching Basketball.

Don was an athlete himself and enjoyed playing Basketball, Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf, and in his younger years was an exceptiona­l Diver. He loved Water Skiing, Fly Fishing, and camping with his family and close friends.

Don is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Miller; his siblings, David, Patty, Jeanie, and Daryl; and grandmothe­r, Olive Compton.

Don is survived by his three children and their spouses, Michael Miller (Rebecca), Laura Cotney (Ed), and Donnie Miller (Toni); his grandchild­ren, Kyle, Joe, Cassidy, Heather, Chrysten, Lindsey, Terra, Cody, Karsyn, and Lindsay; and his 16 great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Sierra View Mortuary and Memorial Park, 4900 Olive Avenue, Olivehurst, California, 95961

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jasdave "Dave" Singh Dhaddey. His short, but impactful life ended unexpected­ly on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the age of 39. He was born May 26, 1983, in Yuba City, CA, and was a life long resident of the Yuba Sutter area. He graduated from Yuba City High School and went on to work in the agricultur­al field.

Dave was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend. He had a kind heart and a contagious personalit­y that drew people to him. He was such a light in this world.

He had a passion for music, our animals Chewie, Willow, Waverly, R2 and D2. He was the best at Halo, the biggest fan of Star Wars and loved spending time with his friends and family.

Dave is survived by his wife, Desiree; his parents, Ajayab and Balbir (Bedo); his sister, Regina; his in-laws, Rhonda and Steve; brother-in-law, Ashton; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparen­ts, Gurbax Singh, Sawarn Kaur, Sohan Singh, and Joginder Kaur Rai.

Christian Service, will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Sikh Service will be Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM, both services at the Chapel of the Twin Cities, 715 Shasta St., Yuba City, CA 95991. Final Prayer at Tierra Buena Gurudwara following the Sikh Service.

Dhaddey will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
