MPD pins two new cadets for local force
The City of Marysville’s Police Chief Christian Sachs pinned two cadets to join Marysville’s Police Department.
The Yuba Community College Public Safety Center proudly announced the successful culmination of its recent Police Academy Graduation ceremony held on Thursday,
May 2, 2024. Amidst an atmosphere of accomplishment and camaraderie, thirteen cadets marked the beginning of their law enforcement careers, with two of them earning the honor of joining the esteemed ranks of the Marysville Police
Department.
Out of the graduating cohort from the Modular Police Academy, Officers Hoskins and Vaitautolu were bestowed with the privilege of donning the distinguished badge of the Marysville Police Department. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have earned them the esteemed opportunity to serve and protect the community of Marysville.
The rigorous training and comprehensive education imparted by Yuba Community College Public Safety Center have equipped these newly minted officers with the necessary skills, knowledge, and ethical foundation to navigate the complexities of modern law enforcement.
As they embark on this noble journey, Officers Hoskins and Vaitautolu carry with them a profound sense of duty and responsibility to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and public service.
The two new Officers have started their field training program and fill two open vacancies.
