NOW THAT THE HEATSINK is out of the way, we can insert the SSD into the mobo. This M.2 SSD is pretty easy to install. Insert the drive into the connector at a 30-degree angle, making sure it is facing up. If it seems too tight, it probably isn’t at the correct angle. We don’t want to sound like a broken record, but take your time. Once inserted, it needs to be secured in place with a tiny M.2 screw. Take the heatsink and screw it back down, performing the previous step in reverse, and hey presto: Our SSD is ready for action.
